'Bardenay' is a term loosely used by sailors in place of the word cocktail. We first heard it used to indicate it was time for a cocktail when our skipper declared that the 'Bardenay hour' had arrived (yeah!) We feel Bardenay is a fitting name for our establishment since our primary focus is on quality cocktails and other beverages. The beer, wine and spirits that we sell are all of top quality. We are so focused on beverages we even treat our tap water to ensure that it tastes good. In addition, we do a lot of little things to enhance the presentation and flavor of your Bardenay. Select liquors and garnishes are stored in freezers to minimize dilution in the mixing glass, juices for drinks like our whisky sours and screwdrivers are fresh pressed and, with the exception of our pint glass, all of our glassware is thin rimmed (It does make a difference). These are little details that combined, make a big difference and, we hope, will having you looking forward to your next 'Bardenay.
